Casual outfits don’t have to be drab, dull and boring. casual but cool bold. casual but cool bold winter outfit
You CAN inject colour (and individual style) into a casual look without compromising on comfort… or warmth!
Today I’m wearing a bold and bright orangey-red coat with a very casual puffa gilet and my trusty jeans.
Skinny jeans are definitely OVER (I wrote about their potential demise a couple of years ago … see that post HERE) and I’m not unhappy about it any more.
Much like the 90s classic boot fit, I feel that they’ve had their day and I’m ready to move on to something new.
Today I’m going tapered and next week it will be the turn of the wide cropped jean.
Time moves on and clinging on to old jeans styles is a sure-fire way to look dowdy and frumpy.
I’ve added a pair of super-chunky trainers to this look and a fun pair of lilac lurex socks.
Adding this fabulous silk scarf in a fun print really made this outfit sing!
