Bold stripes are a classic spring look, aren’t they?
Every year the classic breton (and various other striped items) are announced as the “New Spring Trend!”.
Different coloured stripes.
Different thickness of stripes.
Mixing stripes.
Every possible combination!
Of course, we all know these trends are far from new but stripes are certainly Spring-like, bold and fun.
For me, wearing stripes means Spring has really arrived!
This outfit is as simple as it gets.
No muss.
No fuss.
Simple but still striking.
That’s the great thing about stripes, they make a statement without too much effort!

A bold dress, like this one, needs little in the way of accessories but (of course) I could not help myself!
A few contrasting pieces were needed in order to add a little (more) interest to the look.
This ethnic necklace is bold and brings colour to my face.
Embroidered slippers make the “flat and comfy” part of my outfit seem less boring, and my fringed clutch finished things off nicely!
It’s an easy, comfortable and simple outfit that does all of the work for me!
